About Bhakti Vikasa Swami:

His Holiness Bhakti Vikāsa Swami was born in 1957 in England. With a spiritual journey that began in 1975 when he joined the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in London, he was initiated by ISKCON’s founder-ācārya, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedānta Swami Prabhupāda, under the name Ilāpati dāsa. Dedicated to spreading the teachings of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, he spent significant years preaching in West Bengal and contributing to ISKCON's mission in Bangladesh, Burma, Thailand, and Malaysia.

In 1989, he received the order of sannyāsa and the name Bhakti Vikāsa Swami. Since then, he has been actively involved in sharing his wisdom across India, delivering enlightening lectures in English, Hindi, and Bengali, and also extending his Kṛṣṇa consciousness teachings to global audiences.

Besides his travels and preaching activities, His Holiness is an accomplished author with his books translated into more than fifteen languages. Through his literary works and extensive travels, he continues to create a significant impact within the spiritual community.
